£4.1 million new build in Woking. Earnscliffe worked with architects Marks Barfield and landscape architect Edward Hutchinson to create an inclusive arts facility and museum. Our role included preparing an access statement for planning submission; stakeholder consultation; auditing developing designs; shaping the interpretation strategy; providing ongoing advice on access standards, equipment and best practice.

"We had very high aspirations for our new building and wanted it to be as accessible as possible for everyone. Jayne became involved at a very early stage and worked with our architects and project team guiding them through the audit process. She suggested many fundamental changes that made a huge improvement. We are now really proud of our building and the access it creates - The Art Fund Prize judges remarked on how pleased they were to see groups of disabled people freely moving around the building and how many pushchairs they encountered! This welcoming approach pays tribute to Jayne's skill in guiding us to get it right!"
